Natural Balance Soups as a nutritious snack

Natural Balance Soups are low-fat, high in protein, with added fibre featuring three vegetarian protein sources: pea, soy and potato. Free from artificial colorants, flavours, preservatives, GMO and gluten. Sweetened with fructose, they have natural origin ingredients and are registered with the Vegan Society.

Protein

The Natural Balance Soups have high protein content, which will help you feel satisfied for hours. The protein comes from the three vegetarian sources: soy, potato and pea. The combination of these three ensures a complete amino acid profile.

Fat

The soups are low in fat, but contain rapeseed (canola) oil, which provides the best omega-3 profile of all cooking oils. This is why nutritionists and doctors recommend that rapeseed oil is used for baby food and food for children.

Micronutrients and fibre

The asparagus tips and spinach powder in the Natural Balance Soup Asparagus provide carotenoids (antioxidants), vitamin K, iron and folate. The tomato powder in the Natural Balance Soup Tomato & Basil contains lycopene and carotenoids, both great antioxidants.

The soups contain a water-soluble and prebiotic fibre called inulin. Water-soluble fibres bind and flush toxins and cholesterol out of your body. Prebiotics provide good nutrition for your gut flora, of utmost importance for your immune system.

Many of us find our everyday life rather hectic and making the time to prepare healthy meals can be difficult. Try the recipe below for a practical everyday solution for a healthy and fast dinner, suitable for the whole family!

The family favourite: pizza-flavour soup!

(makes 4 servings)
Mix 220 ml water, 220 ml low-fat or skim milk and 2 dl (approx. 92 g) Natural Balance Soup Tomato & Basil powder. Stir until smooth. Bring to the boil on the stove, stirring occasionally. Add 1 yellow bell pepper, cut in slices, and 10-15 small broccoli florets. Simmer for 5 min. Serve with a green salad on the side and whole-grain bread, optionally with a low-fat spread or low-fat cheese.
