About Oriflame Products
All Oriflame factories must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards, which ensure that processes are properly designed, monitored and controlled. Good Manufacturing Practices imply a controlled environment with a focus on hygiene measures and preventing that products would be contaminated in any way.
As required by regulation and our strict internal standards, all sensitive products are subject to microbiological tests to ensure they are safe for use by our consumers.
About the SARS-COV-2 Virus (“Coronavirus”)
There is no known case of transmission of the SARS-COV-2 virus through contact with a commercial product.
Current medical expertise suggests that under favourable conditions, the virus could survive up to a few days outside the body of an animal or human host.
According to the World Health Organization, "the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low." The Oriflame products that are sold to a beauty consultant have been manufactured several weeks or months before the day they are sold. Thanks to our high-quality manufacturing process and to the lead-time between production and delivery to a consultant. Based on that, we feel it is safe to use our products.
